Bruno Vilela and your flight blind
The plastic artist pernambucano Bruno Vilela is with a new series of photographs. Flying blind is called and it shows exclusively for the 5th Blog Paraty in Focus.
In reality, these photos were saved in a closet and would be resumed in another era. Bruno, one artist in constant boiling, after the badalado photographic essay Bibbdi bobbdi boo , returned to painting and now the drawing. Intends to retake the photograph soon.
I will explain how these images finished here. 've Been in the studio of Vilela and, chat vai, chat comes, Bruno strip the closet few copies of minilab, which is a start of a future work. There are pictures of clouds and sky with phrases in Braille. The phrases are excerpts of the poem The Man: The Travels of Carlos Drummond de Andrade (at end of post, I place the poem).
I thought spectacular! It is a photo tactile.
It is to play, not to see. Or, best saying, is for "see" touching, groping.
I asked, "as we scan it and show the braille cool on a computer screen?". It became the doubt. I suggested, "flatbed scanner". It worked. Seeing the images in high resolution, the braille seems 3D.
It is inevitable not remember of the assay Equivalences of Alfred Stieglitz.
Yes! Who does not have pictures of clouds? I have ... I do not have is a photo to feel. Dabbling.

The Man: The Travels
Carlos Drummond de Andrade
The man, beast of the earth so small
annoys-if on Earth
place of much misery and little fun,
makes a rocket, a capsule, a module
Toca to the Moon
descends cautious in Lua
pisa on the Moon
plant pennant on the Moon
experiences the Lua
civilizes the Moon
humanizes the Moon
Lua humanity: so equal to Earth.
The man annoys impacted the moon
Let's go to Mars - ordering their machines.
They obey, man descends on Mars
pisa on Mars
experiences
colonizes
civilizes
humanizes Mars with engenho and art.
Marte humanized, what place square.
Let's the other party?
Claro -; says engineer
sophisticated and docile.
Let's to Venus.
The man puts the foot on Venus,
sees the visa; is this?
idem
idem
idem.
The man melts at cuca if not to Jupiter
proclaiming justice along with injustice
repeat the fossa
repeating the restless
repetitório.
Other planets remain for other colonies.
The space throughout turns Terra-to-earth.
The man arrives to the Sun or gives one back
just to tever?
Not sees that he invents
linen insiderável of living on the Sun
Puts the foot and:
but that annoying that is the Sun, false bull
espanho tamed.
There remain others system outside
the manor to colonize.
When finishing everyone
only remains to man
(Will be equipped?)
the very difficult dangerosíssima trip
of self to himself:
put the foot on the ground
of your heart
experience
colonize
civilize
humanize
man
discovering in their own unexplored entrails
the perennial, unsuspected joy
to live with.

Wow! Drummond actually has its own greatness. Knowing yourself is the great challenge of man and we always left for last. With respect to photos is a great idea, but it seems that is only to be seen, as I understand the statements in Braille remain flat, a person without vision could not read, then it is to see.
Hug!
PS: Nice blog
Hi Marcio,
Yes, the sentences are in Braille and can be read by a blind person.
Hugs.
It really is a good idea, congratulations. When you have time check out my work and other artists on the site collective http://www.arcapress.com
hug!
Márcio Lima.
Márcio, congratulations by ArcaPress!
Let us note in passing, a place where we can find Celso Oliveira and Ed Viggiani already deserves prominence and respect.
Even more than descending into list of photographers integrants, we arrived in dear Ricardo Teles.
Congratulations once again!
