A traveling exhibition of Edward S. Curtis and Claudia Andujar arrives in Salvador
© Photo by Edward S. Curtis. USA, 1922. After traveling several Brazilian cities, the exhibition "Sacred Legacy Pictures and Yanomami" arrives in Salvador, Bahia. The exhibition displays the work of American photographer Edward S. Curtis and Swiss naturalized Brazilian Claudia Andujar. "Sacred Legacy" shows 60 photos of the American pioneer in revealing the customs of the Indians of his country. The images show passages of daily life and rituals of the red-skins. In "Portraits Yanomami," portrays Claudia Andujar, 30 images, the fight for the preservation of the Yanomami people. Always between reason and intuition, cuts, frameworks and Claudia round characters to speak of a constant search for understanding and dialogue.
