Adobe ® has just released its new version of Lightroom ® 3, still beta, so feedback from users.
The download link is on the site Adobe Labs , and a series of changes must be tested against the current version, 2.5.
You do not need a license to use this beta version.
WARNING: This version is only for testing, probably with all the settings and tools different from the final.
The most important thing is not to import their catalogs from previous versions to the LR3 Beta, and not use this version to work day-to-day.

10 highlights:
1 -) Performance and image quality, the application has been rewritten so that a single catalog can be used without loss of performance, with high resolution files and weight of modern cameras. More images can be managed in this catalog. On the issue of quality, a new algorithm "demosaicing" was used in image processing RAW (or DNG), focusing on both noise reduction and sharpness, it is possible to choose the new or the old process, in images processed as previously other versions of the program.
2 -) Import Dialog: Completely redesigned, expanded or compact version with more integrated with the look of LR and more intuitive.
3 -) "Publish Collections" who upload images to Flickr and iPhones, straight from the Library. Ability to read comments from Flickr from within Lightroom.
4 -) New tool for grain (Grain) and sticker (Vignette) with more controls, "Color Priority" and "Highlight Priority".
5 -) Export Slideshow on. Mov format, with music, H.264 movie format.
6 -) Watermark flexible, with different placement options and effects.
7 -) to close the Backup program, rather than up at the beginning (I love that!).
8-) Lightroom 3 matter CMYK files.
9 -) Collections in the Develop module.
10 -) Any color can be used as the background image in the Print module.

Lightroom Beta and Adobe Camera Raw: The LR3's advanced processing is not yet implemented in the ACR, to use the LR3 for processing your images, the result can be quite different from the outcome of the Camera Raw 5 plugin. This timing will only happen in the final version of Lightroom 3.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE the LR3 Beta for their work, this is only a test version.
