The duo of photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin jumped to the front of the cameras themselves to star in new campaign in the male line of the French brand Lanvin.

It is not the first time that photographers are used as model. Terry Richardson is virtually muse of French brand Sisley. Since 1999 he has been clicking the ads of the brand, until in 2001, Terry used a self-portrait in his campaign. Since then, turns and moves, it appears in the photos it does for the brand, and appear in fashion editorials and even the pictures to illustrate what makes interviews (!).

Long before this whole class of exibidinhos, Helmut Newton has spent his own figure in fashion editorials.

And this year resulted in one of the most iconic photos (not to say "famous") of the century:

Mr. Helmut's not even going to say anything ... but it's clear to me that these other al ('m not disparaging their work) want is to become "celebrities" (if already are not), and I remember a video of one of our great pianists who says: "Whoever wishes to be greater than the ART already failed." Sad times when everyone wants to be "celebrities" are locupletando with such "art market", which let it be void of any reflection, challenge or sense that dignifies the creation and creativity.
