The German photographer Britta Jaschinski, who resides in London, was the winner of GDT European Wildlife Photographer 2010, with a black-and-white photo of a cheetah chasing after a forest fire in Tanzania. She was the first woman to win the overall prize of the contest, which is in its tenth edition and is organized by the Gesellschaft Deutscher Tierfotografen, the German Society for Nature Photographers.
